Compare/Contrast
In “The Things They Carried” and “Bowling for Columbine,” both deal with guns and the way they are handle. In "Bowling for Columbine", they wanted to show what some people do with the guns and how easy it is for them to get their hands on guns. In the movie, they showed that you are able to get your hands on guns anywhere and how they can lead into trouble. That is why this movie was made to employ stricter law on guns. "The Things They Carried" talk about how emotional and stress soldiers go through worrying about being killed by guns. Both compares how guns can change people's life and interest.
